The Small Town Open Hearts Project was awarded a second grant from the It Gets Better Organization in 2024. The purpose of the grant was to provide local libraries with books and resources for LGBTQIA+ youth and their Allies. The selections included novels, biographies, self-help resources, historical reference, children's books and resources for Allies and families. The donations valued at $4000 were presented to the Liberty Public Library and the Randolph Community College / Early College Library in February of 2025.
